The French eco-organisations, compared from their public pages

Updated 15 October 2026 · by Bachir Djebaili, founder of REP·Pro

Direct answer: An eco-organisation is a body approved by the French state for one or more EPR schemes; the producer joins one per scheme and pays its contributions at the published scale. This comparison lists thirteen approved eco-organisations with the scheme each covers and the link to its public site. It reports no scale figure and no private exchange; where REP·Pro stands with each is on the status page. FrenchEPR does not recommend one over another.

If you need a representative established in France

FrenchEPR is written by REP·Pro, an authorised representative (mandataire REP) based in Béziers; its plan, priced by number of schemes on a 12-month plan, is published on the pricing page. No scale figure of any eco-organisation appears on this page: the eco-organisation's public site is the only source for its contributions.

Guides are general information drawn from public texts and public pages, not advice on an individual case. It is you who determine whether your situation falls under French EPR and which schemes concern your products.

FAQ

How do I choose between two eco-organisations of the same scheme?

By reading their public scales, calendars and services; both are approved by the state for the scheme. FrenchEPR does not recommend one over another, and the choice is recorded in the mandate when a representative acts for you.

Why are no scale figures given?

Because each eco-organisation publishes and updates its own scale; a figure copied here would age alone. The public site of each is the source.
